Killer Lake ... A 2004 Photo Album to remember for those there. For those who didn't make it, see what YOU MISSED .

The date was Sept. 25, 2004. The weather was about 20 C, partly cloudy. Perfect for offroading and trail riding. Hardly a bug anywhere. The Lexus again made it everywhere the "BIG BOYS" went except for the tree and rocks climbing ... but then how many did?. Hmmm ...

James, Bud, Ric ( holding his new snorkel ).

1st Hunt camp along Killer Lake trail ... been there before but no further.

Bud, James, Ric at 2nd Hunt Camp with the "bridge".

"Sizing" up a plank/log/rock bridge that must be crossed. Lots of advice.

Hmmm... more work necessary for the bridge I guess. 4Runner again sets the path.

Superwinch to the rescue. Never leave home without .......... a working winch.

Bridge was "beefed" up for the "cars".

Road crew preparing for the 6300 lb. Bronco

Steve, father of one of my past students... Britany. Hi to her. Wish you were there?

Al playing in some minor mud after a wrong turn. Remember to bear right at the first and only "Y".

Deep in the bush, a Bronco gets tamed ... well scratched and bashed. Nice flattened chrome exhausts.

A ripped tire meant it didn't make it out that day.Plan was to come in that night returning from Ottawa to get it out ... RIGHT ! Might still be there.

Doug ( non-functional winch ) hunting for frogs. Water would be deeper in the Spring and late Fall.

Tight rocky trail

Steve and Pauly taking it easy. Gotta save the Jeep for the rock climbs.

Chris ... proud of his squirrelly Jeep but he can't get out.

Killer Lake ... listening for some ATVs coming, then BBQing

Al showing everyone how well a Suzuki can rock climb. beating a 600cc ATV easily !!!

Pauly trying but not quite making it.

Mating ?

Back at ya !

Heading off Killer L. trail back to Hydro line. No takers for the "hole" that Ric & Curtis tried last year. What are the BIG tires FOR then?

Chris' broken rear axle ... led to front wheel drive home. Only 1 try at rock climbing and see what happens.

... and THIS is when it broke !

From here on, the Ric's 4Runner, Curtis' Land Cruiser and Mike's CJ7 will be shown with rear LOCKRITE lockers.

Now we have NO excuses if we get stuck ... maybe I do with only 31's.

Batawa "test" facility proved even the IRON PIG needs a GENUINE LAND CRUISER RECOVERY VEHICLE nearby.

4Runner breaking a path for the 33 inched, locked Cruiser making its initial run since July.
